Now everyone is talking about Cloud Computing which can also be descibed as the 'Services part' in Microsoft's term Software+Serices.
When an Industry makes a new strategic direction and the industry giants leads the way - then everyone will follow!
Cloud Computing makes sense for so many reasons - it is about operational expense (OPEX) instead of capital expense (CAPEX) - it is about talking about a service instead of talking about hardware, software and manpower.
Cloud Computing is really the language that everyone wants to hear - it is easy to understand not only for techies but even more for people like VP of Sales, CEO, CFO and others more business minded people.
So say Sayonara to Recession and talk about Cloud Computing!
But remember that some clouds might be too fluffy and unreal! Talk about SLAs and talk about customer references.
