I know many of you have been anticipating what will be offered to Microsoft partners in regards to Cloud Computing.
On Monday there will be a big announcement that will detail these services. What Microsoft offers I believe will have a positive impact in improving your business and bottom line. It should also open doors to new revenue streams and new business models. The industry is changing regardless and it is always better to embrace change and try to profit from it.
The announcement set to come from Ray Ozzie is expected to be game changing and will describe how this platform, to be known ‘Strata’ (for those of you who attended the EBS in Cannes, combines cloud-based developer capabilities with storage, computational and networking infrastructure services, all hosted on servers operating within Microsoft’s global data center network. This provides developers the ability to deploy applications in the cloud or on-premises and enables experiences across a broad range of business and consumer scenarios.
